York Studios operates a fleet of drones matched to the job: heavy-lift platforms carrying cinema cameras, mid-size aircraft for broadcast and commercial work, and sub-250 gram micro drones for tight, sensitive or otherwise inaccessible locations where a larger aircraft can't be flown.

Safety and compliance come first on every flight. We hold a CASA Remote Pilot Licence and Remote Operator's Certificate, are insured for Australian airspace, and handle CASA liaison, flight approvals and permits ourselves, so you don't have to.

Whether the job is a single hero shot or a multi-day production, we arrive ready in our purpose-built vehicle with onboard power, charging and mobile take-off platforms, and get airborne wherever the brief takes us.

We also specialise in post-production for aerial footage. Every frame goes through our in-house pipeline of colour grading, image enhancement, stabilisation and AI-assisted augmentation, so the photographs and video you receive are finished to the highest standard, not just captured.

Everything in this section was made with AI. We run generative and augmentation workflows on our in-house stack, working with frontier models, so the output is directed rather than generated. We train custom LoRA models on a client's products, talent and brand assets, run them through our proprietary ComfyUI pipelines, and orchestrate multiple frontier image and video models inside one controlled workflow, with a director on every frame.

Because the models are trained on the real thing, we can augment existing photography and footage while keeping product fidelity intact: the right logo, the right colour, the right silhouette, every time. That lets us take a print campaign to motion, build point-of-sale animation from a stills library, or produce a full TVC without a shoot.

The result is broadcast-standard content delivered in days rather than weeks, with the cost of a location shoot taken out of the equation and the client's existing assets doing the heavy lifting.
